So, I just signed up for a hypnobirthing class to prepare for childbirth. D and I will be attending a two day class in Santa Cruz in February to prepare for the birth of our baby in late April. We will probably even stay overnight in Santa Cruz one night so we don't have to drive the hour plus each way back and forth. A friend of mine from grad school attended this course and utilized the techniques with success. :) She also secured the services of a Doula who just happened to be a friend of hers. I'd like to do this as well. Not sure whether I want to use her friend or not for the Doula services since she is ALSO located in Santa Cruz and that would be far to expect her to come and make it in time. However, this Doula friend of hers also runs a photography business that specializes in pregnancy photos as well as baby pics, I think. I'd love to secure her services for that, at least! :)

Anyway, I'm excited to be preparing myself for this baby to come in SOME way! :)
